What we believe about the Bible

The Bible is God's word. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of Truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the Truth without any errors.

"The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times." -Psalms 12:6

"O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people." -Psalms 105

"Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever." - Psalms 119:160

"Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him." -Proverbs 30:5

Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. -II Timothy 1:13

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. -II Timothy 1:13

"Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." -II Peter 1:20-21
